To issue an electronic card or smart card  The following must be followed:

1- Bring an original identification document, such as an old ID card, a seat number stamped by the education office, a university qualification, a university, family, military, or electoral card, and if it is a female, bring the husband, if she is married, or a relative of hers, so that the relative has an identification document.

2- In the absence of an identification document, an ID must be brought along with an identification paper containing the stamp of the person responsible, or a birth certificate for the relative.

3- Two photos, size 4*6.

4- The presence of two witnesses with their ID cards.

5- The smart card fee is 15,000 Yemeni riyals.

6- The electronic card fee is 3,500 Yemeni riyals.
